Montecillos - Honduran Single Origin
A taste of the highlands from the Montecillos region, nestled on the border of Honduras and El Salvador.
This small batch is a community blend of Pacas, IHCAFE 90, and Catuai varieties, carefully washed and crafted by small-holder farmers who work together in a stunning landscape marked by dramatic altitude shifts .
The coffee is hand-picked ripe, depulped the same day, and fermented for 12–24 hours in open-air tanks. After washing to remove mucilage, it’s slowly dried on patios or raised beds for about 15 days, weather permitting — a traditional process that brings out its clean, balanced flavour.
TASTING NOTES: Mellow cooked plum, cola, and juicy peach with a smooth finish.
